A Mourning Dove made a nest in a Fuchsia planter on our front porch. We took pictures over a few weeks but the saga came to an end on Wednesday, June 19th, 2013, when we came home to an empty nest. The two squabs were gone. Leonard found one nearby and replaced it on the nest and the parent returned, but an hour later both were gone again. It appears the parent pushed or otherwise encouraged the squabs to leave.
